Vindy Leung Photo Studio specializes in studio maternity and newborn portraits. I have 8 years of capturing beautiful portraits with newborns and family. My creative juice doesn't end with the use of camera, I personally handmade most of the prop and newborn outfits in the studio. Knitting, crochet, felting, sewing, beading, collecting seasonal florals... I love to combined beautiful textures and natural colors to create something unique for every client. I strive to provide a safe and creative environment to welcome your loved ones, I want to make this process easy and stress free, and at the end you'll take home beautiful works of art that brings you tears! The process is simple:

Step One: Phone or in-person consultation

I am honored to be one of the very first people baby will meet! Safety is my top priority. I welcome you to take a tour at my home studio to ensure I am the right fit for you. In this quick 30 minutes or so consultation, I can walk through the process with you, answer any question or concerns you may have. I'd love to show you my collection of props and outfits, equipments I use to ensure baby's safety. We can even design your vision here! Bring home materials that further prepare our big date upon booking.

Step Two: Picture day

As I pray delivery goes smooth and fast for you, I know this isn't always the case. Please get well rested! Even though the ideal time frame of photographing newborn is around 4-14 days new, if your baby doesn't end up in that time frame, no worries, I have much experience photographing older newborns. On picture day, come in simple hair and make-up. I'll bundle baby up and play dress up. Moms are also free to use studio wraps and dresses. Rest in the studio as I model baby. We'll end up with gorgeous photos of baby portraits, family portraits, and parent shots. I am constantly praised to be patient and gentle, baby is good hands!

Step Three: The big reveal!

All the hard work is revealed in the ordering appointment (approximately 2-3 weeks after picture day). Here, all the photos are edited to perfection artistically and uniquely my style. Bring me your oohs and ahhhs, I have a box of kleenex for you! Fall in love with those first moments again and order which products that suits you. Your artwork may be picked up or send directly to your home 1-2 weeks after this appointment. Snap me a photo of it in your home!
